Esperanza Mendoza
Esperanza was appointed Telikom Limited's acting Head of Finance in October 2022. During the merger process between bmobile Limited and Telikom PNG Limited, she was Senior Finance Manager overlooking the Finance Operations. In May 2019, she was appointed Head of Finance for bmobile after being promoted from Financial Controller – the position she carried out when she joined bmobile in October 2013.
Esperanza has worked in Papua New Guinea for more than seventeen years; she worked for a hospitality organization for her first four years in the country. She joined a Telecommunications company after that. For fourteen years now— she has been and still is working in the telecommunication industry- which has given her the experience of working with private and government organizations. She learned every facet of financial operations and continues to learn to cope with fast-changing technology that made her job more enjoyable. She loves to work with challenges and, at the same time, helping, moulding and challenge Finance staff to do more, achieve more, and dream more. She is analytical, organized, and adept in financial analysis and reporting—a flexible accountant who adapts coherently to accounting procedures and technology.
Esperanza holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, is a member of the Certified Practising Accountants of Papua New Guinea, and continuously does online studies for personal and professional growth.
